Skaftafell - Svartifoss -

I left Höfn, headed to Skaftafell National Park by bus. When I visited Iceland last year, I saw a postcard of Svartifoss (black waterfall) in Skaftafell. It was amazing and unique.
There were a café, kiosk, visitor center and camp site around the bus stop. At first, I went to the accommodation I had booked. It was hard to climb up on a steep slope with my backpack, but lovely flowers and marvelous view encouraged me. I left my backpack at the accommodation, then I went to Svartifoss.

ホプンで２泊した後。バスでスカフタフェットル国立公園へ戻る。ここには、スヴァルティフォス（黒い滝）という滝があり、絵はがきやガイドブックで写真を見て、ぜひ自分の目で見たい！と思った。バス停周辺には、カフェ、ビジターセンター、キャンプ場がある。シャワーもあり、テントやキャンピングカーが並んでいる。ホプンで出会った台湾人の２人も、ここではテントを借りて泊まったと言っていた。滝へと続くお散歩道経由で、宿へ向かう。バックパックを背負っての急な坂道は少し大変だったけど、かわいい花や眼下に広がる景色に励まされる。宿にバックパックを置いて、てくてくお散歩。まず、楽しみにしていた黒い滝を見に行く。
キャンプ場から滝まで、約２km。急な登り坂があるが、途中の景色が良く、ハイカーは多い。

Svartifoss (black waterfall). There are countless waterfalls in Iceland, I’m sure that this waterfall is in the top10.
Hikers were having lunch, talking, taking pictures and relax there.
スヴァルティフォス（黒い滝）に到着。期待通りの素晴らしい滝。アイスランドには滝が無数にあるけれど、ここの滝はトップ10に入るはず。
辺りにはいろいろな国の人、子どもからお年寄りまでが、座ったり、お昼を食べたり、話したり、写真を撮ったりとのんびり滝を眺めていた。
